Our salon is at Springbank Farm, Tan Yard Brow, Gorton, Manchester M18 8UJ — we're not in any of the towns below, but we're a short drive from all of them. Here's roughly how far, so you can see at a glance whether we're worth the trip.
Pampered Paws is a small, professional dog grooming salon set in the grounds of Springbank Farm Kennels, a long-established boarding kennels just off Hyde Road (A57) in Gorton. Our groomers have been grooming dogs for years. Because we're a few minutes outside the town centres, you get a calmer groom and free parking right outside the door.
We're a salon rather than a mobile service, so dogs come to us — and we don't currently offer collection or drop-off. That's why we've listed the real distances below rather than claiming to be on everyone's doorstep: it's the quickest way for you to judge whether the trip makes sense.
Distances are measured from each town centre and rounded up to allow for traffic. If your area isn't listed above, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly how far we are.

Free parking on site
Park right outside the salon door, free of charge, however long the groom takes.

Every dog is dried by hand with a towel and dryer. We never use a drying box.

Where we are
We're tucked into the grounds of Springbank Farm Kennels, just off Hyde Road (A57) in Gorton. It's an easy run from the M60 and the M67, and there's free parking on site, right outside the salon door.

Which areas do you actually cover?
We groom dogs from right across Manchester, Tameside and the Stockport area — the towns listed above are simply the ones we're asked about most. Because we're a salon, "covering" an area means people travel to us rather than us travelling to them.
If your area isn't listed, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly how far away we are.
Do you collect and drop off?
Not at the moment, no. We don't currently offer collection or drop-off, so your dog will need bringing to the salon at Springbank Farm.
Can I wait while my dog is groomed?
We don't have a waiting area, so you won't be able to wait on site — worth knowing if you're travelling over from Stockport or Ashton. When you book we'll give you a time slot so you know when to come back for collection.
Is there parking?
Yes — there's free parking on site at Springbank Farm, right by the salon.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken when you collect your dog. At the moment we're cash only, but we do also accept bank transfers.
