How much does a dog groom cost?
Full grooms start from £35 for small dogs, £40 for medium and £45 for large. A bath, brush and blow dry starts from £20, a bath, blow dry and trim from £30, and a puppy groom from £20.
Prices vary with the size of your dog and the condition of their coat, so please call us on 07414 960725 for an exact quote.
Why are your prices listed as “from”?
Every dog is different. Coat length, matting, temperament and how settled a dog is on the table all affect how long a groom takes, so the price we quote on the day may be a little more than the “from” price shown.
We'll always confirm the price with you before we start, so there's never a surprise when you come to collect your dog.
How do I book?
You can book online via our contact page, call or text us on 07414 960725, or message us on Facebook — we'll find a slot that suits you.
We work by appointment, so it's best to book ahead. We're open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
Is there parking at the salon?
Yes — there's free parking on site at Springbank Farm, right outside the salon door. No meters, and no hunting for a space on a busy high street.
How long will my appointment take?
A full groom usually takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. A bath, brush and blow dry on a short-haired dog is quicker — normally about an hour.
It does vary with your dog's size, coat condition and how settled they are, so we'll give you a better idea of timings when you book.
Do you groom puppies?
Yes. We offer a puppy groom for dogs aged three to six months from £20 — a gentle introduction to being brushed, bathed and handled before their first full groom. It includes a shampoo wash, hand blow dry, full fur brush and trim, nail clip, ear wash, eye clean and a fragrance spritz.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken when you collect your dog. At the moment we're cash only, but we do also accept bank transfers.
Will you pick up and drop my dog off?
Sorry, we don't currently offer collection or drop-off — we're a salon, not a mobile groomer.
Can I wait in your reception area whilst my dog is being groomed?
No, we don't currently have a waiting area. We'll give you a time slot to come back for collection when you book.
Will my dog be dried using a drying box?
No — we hand dry every dog with a towel and hand dryer. We never use a drying box.
What if I'm unhappy with my dog's finished result?
If you're unhappy with the groom, please speak to a member of staff and we'll do our best to put it right.
